Hymn Of Autumn

Thus the gloom descends…

The leaves fall in autumn,
So does the sorrow.
It envelopes you in its sad, chilly embrace...
And the soul longs for some warmth,
The warmth of touch, of feeling, of being alive!
It writhes in agony so old,
That the bones turn to icicles.
It is tortuous, it is serene!
As the daylight creeps back into the nether;
The sordid darkness licks its last bit of presence,
Thus descends the gloom.
The leaves fall in Autumn,
So does the Sorrow!

Nefelibata. I live to dream. And sometimes, I write them down.
