A Darkness is Born

A poem of loneliness

It is the day, I walk away;
It is the day, I start living.
The road is tough,
But I am toughened by the dispirited journey of my soul…
From doom to eternal purgatory!
You bequeathed, a forlorn journey for me;
But hitherto, I am alive; I am me.
It is the day, I leave myself.
It is the day, darkness is born.
